Notes are a perfect way to tell him how you feel (but don’t give one to him during class). You should make sure that when he gets the note, he’s not near his friends. If he is near his friends and they see you, he could get teased or you could—for many reasons, including because they are jealous. I hope I helped. This worked for a friend of mine!

Wear or do something really unique that will make him notice you. Or if he plays a sport and you're watching him, say something like, "Great running. You're really fast." Then he’ll know you’re noticing him.
-Kitty, age 10, England
First, DO NOT let your friends tell him for you! (Trust me, that's what my friend did and the boy ended up not liking her.) I think you should just go up and tell him how you feel. Or, try to have a conversation with him on a topic that you’re both interested in.
-An AG fan, age 11, Connecticut
Try to make friends first. That gives you a chance to see what he is like without risking the embarrassment of telling him you like him. Also, if you find out you don't like him as much as you thought you did, you will have a made a cool new friend!
-Shelby, age 12, Georgia
Try figuring out what he likes, such as which band he listens to or what sport he plays. Then walk by him while singing that song or talking about that sport. If that doesn't work, run into him and keep the band's picture or a sport team on your folder or notebook and make sure he sees it!
-Jessica, age 11, Texas
You could write him a secret admirer note. Put it on his desk without him noticing. Make sure you don’t put your name on the note; just express your feelings about him. Then, at the right moment, tell him it was from you. Good luck!
-Lindsey, age 9, Hawaii
Practice what you will say to him. (Make sure no one can hear you!) That way you will build up your courage. Then, when no one else is around, tell him how you feel. Also, get AG’s book A Smart Girl's Guide to Boys. It is a great book! Hope I helped.
-Nora, age 13, Arkansas
A fun way to tell a boy you like him is to write him a code note that sounds mean but is really a love note—like this:
If you think I like you,
You are so wrong!
You are right
To always stay far away from me.
I truly think that you are
Crazy! It is
Amazing
That you can do anything right.
I DO NOT want you to
Talk to me ever again or
Just be my friend.
I hate you! Don’t mistake that for
I like you!
Sounds mean, right? Well now, read every other line. You can write this boy a note like this, put your name at the bottom, and tell him to read every other line. He will be amazed at this! Hope it works!
