Making this crafty confection is a piece of cake! Trace around a quarter on a dry expandable sponge. Cut out the circle and then cut a triangle wedge from it.
Wet the sponge pieces so they expand, and let dry.
Paint the top and sides of the sponge pieces white.
With a marker, draw a stripe of frosting inside the circle and along the sides of the wedge.
Glue a piece of paper doily to the top of a 1-1/2-inch button.
Glue the cake on top of the doily. Glue the cake wedge to a smaller button.
