Americans for the Arts
To further support the arts in the US, American Girl is making a financial contribution to Americans for the Arts, the nation's leading nonprofit organization for advancing the arts in America. The donation supports the organization's Arts Education Program, which provides arts education professionals with the information, materials, and resources they need to enrich student experiences with the arts. Championing the cause of the arts and arts education in communities across the country, Americans for the Arts provides a rich array of programs that help foster an environment in which every child has access to—and takes part in—high-quality learning experiences in the arts, both in school and in the community.

Save the Children
To help children in poverty learn to read, American Girl has provided more than $1 million in books to Save the Children's US Literacy Program. This year, American Girl is proud to continue supporting the organization's literacy efforts with a significant financial contribution. In addition to helping students develop their reading skills, Save the Children provides programs for physical activity, nutrition, and early childhood education. It partners with local schools and communities to help some of the most underserved rural areas in the US.

K.I.D.S. (Kids In Distressed Situations)
As part of an ongoing relationship with K.I.D.S. (Kids in Distressed Situations), American Girl is proud to continue donating new clothes and books through its Shine On Now charitable effort. To date, American Girl has donated more than $15 million in merchandise to the nonprofit. K.I.D.S. works in the US and around the world to distribute new items to kids who are poor, sick, homeless, or have been affected by natural disasters.

The Association helps promote health and well-being of families, while working to ensure that all children have access to high-quality care.
