Kaya loves summer—salmon fishing at Celilo Falls, horse racing, parades, feasting, and dancing, too! Kaya can’t wait to join in the fun, but she’s also got something serious on her mind: searching for her lost sister, Speaking Rain. Thousands of families gather at Celilo Falls, and Kaya hopes someone may have word of her sister. Meanwhile, Kaya’s older sister, Brown Deer, will soon be married. Kaya lost one sister when she had to leave Speaking Rain with the enemies. Now will she lose Brown Deer?
