Clay beads are easy and fun to make, and people like to buy them. All you have to do is roll modeling clay into tiny balls and poke holes through them. I sell my beads for 5 cents for a small bead and 10 cents for a large bead. The last time I sold them, I made $10!
What kind of tree can you fit in your hand?
A palm tree!
In a Pickle
Spread cream cheese on a slice of turkey or ham. Put a mini dill pickle inside, and roll it up. It's easy being green!
Pick a Theme
When you redecorate your room or move into a new room, it's always fun to choose a theme. A theme makes it easier to decorate your room in the future, too. For example, the theme in my bedroom is jazz music, and everything in my sister's room is pink.
"Once upon a time..."
One time when I was babysitting, the little girl I was watching was having trouble falling asleep. To help her go to bed, I told her a fairy tale that I made up. I used her and her sister as characters, and I made it really interesting. This gave her something to think about as she fell asleep, and it was fun for me, too.
Fill 'er Up!
I love playing this game in my backyard. Divide your friends into two teams. Players stand in two straight lines, with one person in front. The first person in each line soaks a sponge in a bucket of water and passes it to the person behind her. At the end of the line, the last person squeezes the sponge into a vase or cup (containers should be the same size for both teams). The last person will then run to the front to soak the sponge again. Do this until the container is full. The team that fills its container first wins.
Trace your hands all over a piece of white poster board with a pencil. Overlap the handprints and trace as many as you would like. Once you've traced your hands, decorate the hand shapes by coloring them in, tracing them with glittery puffy paint, or drawing little doodles around them. You'll have a poster that's uniquely you!
Song in My Head
If you need help remembering something, such as your bike-lock or locker combination, try singing the numbers. It's fun, and it will probably stick in your head!
