Coupon Cash
A good way to make money is to cut out or print out coupons that you think your mom could use. I do this, and my mom pays me half of her savings from the coupons for that week.
How do you catch a squirrel?
Climb up a tree and act like a nut!
Homemade Ice Cream Sandwich
Using chocolate chip cookies (or your favorite cookie), spread vanilla ice cream between two cookies. Put your sandwich into the freezer, and allow it to become solid. What a cool snack!
Make Your Room Bloom
My room has a garden theme. My mom, a friend, and I painted a fence on the walls by my bed, sponge-painted a blue sky around my bed, and painted flowers in between the fence posts. My green bedspread makes the room look even more gardenlike. I love my room!
Story Time
Children almost always like story time. Toddlers and babies like to be read to, even if they don't understand the book. They just like to hear your voice. The next time you are babysitting, give reading a try!
Keep It Going
This game needs at least two other friends. Ask your friends to form a circle. Choose one of them to start; she'll say a person, place, or thing (such as 'dog'). The player to the left of the first one will say a person, place, or thing that begins with the last letter of the previous word ('grapes'). Keep going around as many times as you like.
Teeny Eats
I love making food for my dolls out of nontoxic air-dry clay. I've made burgers, pizza, cupcakes, cookies, and bacon and eggs. These are fun to display on a shelf in your room, too!
Ready to Go
At night, put all of your books and papers into your backpack. Then in the morning, you won't have to search for your school stuff.
