Girls can find the books they love—losing themselves in exciting stories, solving puzzles, doing craft projects, or learning to be their best. The bookstore is stocked floor-to-ceiling with terrific titles featuring the American Girl characters girls love, great advice, fun activities, and lots more!

Souvenir Shop

She’ll love taking home a memento of her American Girl trip. The one-of-a-kind souvenirs are only available at American Girl Place in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. She’ll always remember her visit to the place girls dream of.

Cuddles and kisses and time for love—that’s what Bitty Baby wants. Girls can help Baby play, eat, explore, and nap in a nursery filled from top to bottom with everything she needs!

Bitty Twins^®

The on-the-go Bitty Twins come in all kinds of cuddly combinations. This doll pair features full outfits with accessories, hair for styling, Dress Like Your Doll clothing, and storybooks that include helpful tips for parents.

When you need help at American Girl Place in Chicago, Los Angeles, or New York, visit the Concierge Desk. The staff can assist you with information, reservations, directions, and more.

Merchandise shipments

For your convenience, our American Girl Place stores can send the merchandise you purchase directly to your home for a nominal fee.

Let one of our shopping experts assist you with advice, ideas, purchases, and more. Call 1-877-247-5223 for an appointment. This complimentary service is available exclusively at American Girl Place in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York.

Doll Hospital admissions

Is your girl’s doll in need of some TLC? Bring her to the store, and we’ll send her to our Doll Hospital for everything from a general cleaning to “major surgery.” Once she’s feeling better (in about two weeks), we’ll send her home, safe and sound.

Fitting rooms

Make sure your girl’s outfit suits her with the convenience of our fitting rooms.

Coat check

It’s a convenient and complimentary service for your day at American Girl Place.

Returns and exchanges

If you wish to return or exchange American Girl merchandise, you can bring it to the store. Remember to bring your receipt or packing slip, too, for a quick and easy transaction.
