- Shockwave: allows you to see animation, hear some sounds, and play a lot of games at AmericanGirl.com, like Kit's Money Matters, Josefina's Making Music, Samantha's Sketchbook, Picture Pieces, and more!
- Flash: allows you to see animation, hear some sounds, and play some games at AmericanGirl.com, like quizzes in Quiz Corner, e-cards in E-Card Central. This plug-in comes with the Shockwave plug-in but can also be downloaded separately.
- QuickTime: plays video clips, sounds, and music.
- JavaScript: allows your browser to display rollovers and other fancy tricks.
- Acrobat Reader: lets you view and print Portable Document Files or PDFs. On this site we'll create PDFs to give you better looking printouts of such things as certificates and other printable materials.

How long does it take?
If your modem speed is 14.4 or 28.8, these plug-ins may take up to half
an hour to download. It may seem like a long time, but the result should
be worth the time. And you only have to do it once!
