It's easy to check what plug-ins you already have on your computer.
First, figure out what kind of computer you're using. It should be either
a PC or Macintosh. Then find out which Web browser you useInternet
Explorer or Netscape. If you use the America Online browser, see the AOL
Information page.

Internet Explorer
- Select "About Internet Explorer."
- On a Macintosh it's under the Apple menu.
- On a PC, it's under the Help menu.
- When the new window pops up, click on the "Support" button.
- Scroll down the page until you find a list of all the
plug-ins you have.
- Look for ShockWave, Flash, QuickTime, and Acrobat Reader.
- Make a note of which plug-ins you need to download.
Netscape
- Select "About Plug-ins."
- On a Macintosh, it's under the Apple menu.
- On a PC, it's under the Help menu.
- When the new window pops up, scroll down the page until
you find a list of all the installed plug-ins.
- Look for ShockWave, Flash, QuickTime, and Acrobat Reader.
- Make a note of which plug-ins you need to download.
