Read Together with American Girl's Online Book Club

Community

Our new Book Club on Facebook invites parents, grandparents, and book enthusiasts over the age of 13* to join an online community of readers dedicated to exploring and celebrating American Girl’s classic historical and contemporary fiction.

Whether just for you or as a wonderful reading experience for you and your girl to have together, be a part of American Girl’s Facebook Book Club! Each month, we will pick a book from our historical or contemporary line for all members of the group to read and discuss. Share your progress, favorite moments, and quotes; participate in polls and quizzes; look for special Facebook Live features and interviews; and connect with other readers!

Whether the month’s selection is a well-loved classic or a brand-new story, journey along with our characters as they use their smarts, self-confidence, and inner strength to grow and achieve their dreams.

We hope you’ll join us to discover—or rediscover—the characters and stories that inspire and delight girls as they explore the many ways that character matters.

Check out the Book Club guidelines and Join the group here.

The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA) regulates the collection of information from children under 13 for privacy and safety reasons. Most social media sites, including Facebook, are prohibited from registering children under the age of 13 to use their sites.

We’re eager for you to share YOUR perspectives and stories about this reading journey, but in the interest of her privacy and safety, and in accordance with the law, we cannot invite your girl’s direct participation in the online group.

Tenney Shares the Stage

AG Book Club selection for June:

Tenney Shares the Stage

With a signed recording contract, Tenney is ready to make the album of her dreams—she just wishes she didn’t have to do it with moody Logan Everett! They’re supposed to be songwriting partners, but Logan doesn’t even seem to be trying.

Just when it looks like they’ve found their harmony, Logan suddenly disappears, and Tenney wonders if he has bailed on their act. A couple of months ago, Tenney would have gladly taken the opportunity to go solo. But as she learns more of Logan’s story, she begins to wonder: Do she and Logan need each other—and their music—now more than ever before?
