Step 1: Part hair down the middle, from the forehead to neck.
Step 2: Take one half of the hair and split into three sections–left, middle, and right.
Step 3: Take the right section and cross it over the middle (it becomes the new middle!).
Step 4: Take the left section and cross it over the new middle.
Step 5: Repeat this pattern until you reach the end of the hair. Secure the braid with a small elastic!

Step 1: Part hair down the middle, from the forehead to the crown. You'll be working with the top half only!
Step 2: Make two ponytails, one on each side. Take one ponytail and twist it all the way to the end.
Step 3: Wrap the twist around the base of the ponytail to form a bun.
Step 4: Secure the bun with bobby pins.
Step 5: Repeat on the other side.

A fun twist on a classic ponytail

Step 1: Gather some of your doll's hair into a ponytail halfway down her head and secure it with a small elastic.
Step 2: Using your fingers, gently split the hair just above the elastic and create a small hole.
Step 3: Slide the loop end of the tool downward through the hair just above the elastic. Lift the ponytail and place it through the loop of the tool.
Step 4: Gently pull the handle of the tool down through the opening. As it slides through, it will flip the ponytail inside out, creating a twist above the elastic.

Step 1: Separate the hair into two equal sections.
Step 2: Make two high ponytails–one on each side of your doll's head.
Step 3: Use hair elastics evenly down each ponytail, creating "bubbles" by gently pulling the sections outward to puff the up.

A magical twist on a classic

Step 1: Gather the hair into two separate ponytails at the top of either side of your doll's hair.
Step 2: Divide the ponytail evenly into two parts.
Step 3: Twist both sections in the same direction tightly.
Step 4: Now twist the two sections around each other in the opposite direction. This helps the braid keep its shape.
Step 5: Secure the end with another small elastic and repeat the process on the other side.

Rope braid steps

Level up: Make many micro rope braids and add butterly flips for whimsy!
